What started as a drizzle grew worse, then abated as moe. took the stage. The crowd filled in and the band sizzled. They popped Tim's moe.cherry. (Thanks Tim for the lammy; nothing like hearing Skip say "You're smoking a pipe on MY stage?") Thanks also to Tom and Claire for the help with the load-out. It was also great to see Al and Janis, as well as severl other cruise vets.
On first listen, I am happier with this then last weekend's recordings. I bagged the Sound Devices 302 and went back to the Berenger, let me know what you think.
Also, thanks to my friends on Taper Section who hooke me up with the CD WAV editor, no more tracking gaps!

great sounding show...
sunnyrock, I'm going to the Wolftrap show in Vienna, Va too! was there last year. Not to many venues still let you bring in beers. Don't try lighting up anything there... it would be a federal offense seeing as it's a National Park!

Thanks
Thanks for getting this up here...I've seen moe four or five times and enjoy them....but this show pretty much sold me on them. I came here simply to find out what a certain song was, but listening to this show again is great....Moth > Pit > Moth 'bout took the top of my head off.

Scared the rain away
Moe. hit the stage at 5:15pm under threaten skies. It started to drizzle a bit but during a ripping Moth into the Pit the sunshine broke through and it turned out to be a beautiful day. Moe. was fantastic. To me, and maybe many others, they are very Phishy, yet still very unique and outstanding to listen to. I had seen them a number of times before, but now I came away a serious fan. WANEE 2008 WAS AWESOME!

Wanee Rocked...
What a great weekend of music man? Thanks for the moe. upload. I've seen moe. 6 or 7 times and never really enjoyed them until this show. Great sound on the tapes man, very much appreciated. If you don't mind me asking, what other shows did you get taped this weekend? I would really love to have Levon Helm's set, along with RatDog, Wanee Family Jam, and mule. That would kick ass. Thanks again for this excellent source man. Can't wait for Wanee 2009

Wow! This set is already here. My head is still foggy from yesterday. The rain didn't stick around very long and moe. put on a great show. At one point, the sun broke through the clouds and we all cheered. My first moe. show, but it sounded good. Wanee is a fantastic way to start the season! See you next year.
